Data Entry Operator

A Data Entry Operator is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in computer systems or databases. The role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, confidentiality, and timely processing to support smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter data into computer systems, spreadsheets, or databases with high accuracy.
  • Update and verify existing records regularly.
  • Review data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
  • Prepare basic reports and summaries as required.
  • Organize and manage digital and physical data files.
  • Coordinate with team members to clarify data-related issues.
  • Meet daily and monthly data entry targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Intermediate / Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Good typing speed with accuracy.
  • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data.
  • Basic knowledge of email and internet usage.

Experience:

  • Fresher or 1–3 years of experience in data entry or administrative roles (preferred).
