Lab Technician

A Lab Technician is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and processing medical samples to assist doctors in accurate diagnosis and treatment. The role requires precision, technical knowledge, and strict adherence to laboratory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and label blood, urine, and other medical samples
• Conduct routine laboratory tests and analyses as per protocols
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment
• Ensure accuracy and timely reporting of test results
• Maintain laboratory records, reports, and sample logs
• Follow safety, hygiene, and infection control guidelines
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of laboratory procedures and medical testing
• Ability to handle lab equipment and instruments
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer skills for data entry and report management

Qualifications:

• DMLT / B.Sc (MLT) or equivalent
• Relevant laboratory certification preferred
